There are many reasons persons need to have their fingerprints taken. The University of Utah Police Department provide fingerprint services to those needing fingerprints, except those needing electronic submissions.

No appointment necessary.

Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Fee & Payment

The first card is $10; each additional card is $7 per card.

We can accept Visa or Master Card, check, cash or campus orders.

Checks can be made out to:  University Department of Public Safety

What to Bring

Valid government issued photo ID (Driver license, passport, military ID, etc.)

We use the FBI generic 10-fingerprint card. Some agencies require fingerprints to be submitted on specific cards. If your department or agency requires a special form you must bring this form with you.

Any special instructions or verification documentation that may be required by the entity.
