Capital Facilities & Remodeling Process for Fiscal Year '08-'09
How CF&R Funds are Used
The Capital Facilities & Remodeling funds are allocated annually for general departmental, research, accessibility, remodels, etc. Funding is used to assist colleges and departments to meet physical environmental changes in their programmatic needs.
General Guidelines:
Projects are funded up to $250,000 and may accommodate new or modified programmatic use; must be resubmitted each year if not approved, or approved and not fully funded the year before; and must be submitted by January 11, 2008.
This process takes several months to be completed. Projects must be submitted through the cognizant vice president to the CF&R Committee by January 11, 2008. Funding allocations are approved by the end of April. At that time, you will be notified regarding whether or not your project has been approved. The funds for the approved projects will be made available at the end of the fiscal year.
